The Whitewright Sun is located in the North Texas town of Whitewright.
Founded in 1884, we are the oldest business in town. Proud to call
Whitewright home, we offer responsible journalism and we keep our readers
apprised of current events as well as school and church activities. We strive to cover all events that touch the lives of our readers
directly or indirectly. One of our current goals is to branch out into
surrounding communities, expand local interest and increase the marketing
