This is the first Viking to ever come off an assembly line.
This Viking was built in Ashland , Wisconsin.
It is a 1966 and is owned by
Bill and Norma Haske of Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin.
1969-1970 Viking`s
These 2 Viking`s represent the first phase of the Viking
snowmobiles. The above picture is of a 1969 Viking with a 372 Hirth. It is owned
by Steve Thompson. The sled below is a 1970 with the 440 Kohler. It is owned by
Allen Carlsrud. The 1969-1970 models looked the same. There were some running
line
changes for the safety striping on the seat risers, and the larger hood
for more cooling on the 440`s. These sleds are the Viking Peacock color.
