The first Viking

This is the first Viking to ever come off an assembly line. This Viking was built in Ashland , Wisconsin.
It is a 1966 and is owned by Bill and Norma Haske of Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin.

1969-1970 Viking`s

These 2 Viking`s represent the first phase of the Viking snowmobiles. The above picture is of a 1969 Viking with a 372 Hirth. It is owned by Steve Thompson. The sled below is a 1970 with the 440 Kohler. It is owned by Allen Carlsrud. The 1969-1970 models looked the same. There were some running line
changes for the safety striping on the seat risers, and the larger hood for more cooling on the 440`s. These sleds are the Viking Peacock color.
