Single Cylinder Racing

This is the 340 single Sach`s. This is on the 1972 Vigilante SS chassis. This sled was a production single cylinder race sled. The sled could give any twin 340 a run for its money. The engine used for this machine was the Model 340SS Sachs. The sled pictured is shown in Royal Blue.

Vigilante 440 SS Free Air

This sled was designed by Viking, to be a production race sled. The sled features a K-4402SS Kohler Free Air. The engine was first built for Mercury and Speedway for there race models. The popularity and demand for speed in the racing world, helped the engine find its way to the rest of the market.
The sled is shown here in Royal Blue.

1972 Viking Vanquisher

All race Viking`s. The 1972 Viking Vanquisher was designed and built only for the tracks. They had all of Vikings Features, with the extras that only were used in the races. They had a Twin Cylinder 650 Hirth (Red Baron) engine. The exaust was two expansion chambers that exited the belly pan just in front of the drivers feet. They were just a memory after the 1972 model year. The 2 pictured here are shown in Viking Purple and Peacock. The Peacock one is Allen Carlsruds and the Purple one is Mine.
