Kay-9 Dog Training Club

Ponca City, Oklahoma

The Kay-9 Dog Training Club is a not-for-profit club dedicated to promoting the health and well-being of dogs through training.  We have public Obedience Classes twice a year, as well as, classes for our members in Obedience and Agility.  Frequently, we have Member Nights, where you can bring your dog for socialization or work on whatever training you want.  There is always a more experienced member there to help you.  The Kay-9 DTC also does things for our community such as our public obedience classes, participating in community parades, holding Microchip Clinics, giving Microchip Scanners to our local shelters, and raising money to purchase a bullet-proof vest for the Ponca City Police Drug Dog, Rocky.  Our Club supports the American Kennel Club by holding an Annual AKC Sanctioned Obedience Trial the last weekend in April and an Annual AKC Sanctioned Agility Trial the last weekend in September.

The Kay-9 Dog Training Club is made up of people who show, as well as, people who don’t show.  We have activities for everyone.  ( See Calendar)  Membership dues are only $10.00 per person or $15.00 for a family per year.  Meetings are at 7:00 p.m. at the Ponca City Library on the 1st Thursday of each month.  We encourage anyone who is interested in dogs and in better integrating their dog into their family through training to join.
