My Favorite Things is a scenic and enjoyable climb, ascending clean slab of every possible texture, plus cracks, dihedrals and roofs of beautiful granite. The trip down Tenaya Canyon passes magnificent carved water pools and soaring walls. And that's before you even reach the climb. Views from the climb include the huge walls of Mt. Watkins, the dark side of Half Dome (with the human ant column) and the bowels of Tenaya Canyon and Yosemite Valley. The route itself is Grade IV, but that's not considering the 6-mile cross-country approach and 7-mile return by trail. For many folks, this will likely be as much an alpine adventure as a pure rock climb.
Some of the pictures are rather large, so they may load slowly, but we wanted the detail to come through.
