Large
towns and small towns are different in many ways. One difference is that there
is a lot more crime in large towns than small towns. In some large towns and
cities there is more than one murder a day on average. In a large town there is
a lot more traffic, sometimes people have to wait in traffic for hours at a
time when traveling a short distance. In small towns people do not have to wait
in traffic as often and they are able to get from place to place much faster.
There
is less pollution is most small towns when compared to large towns. One of the
reasons is because there are not as many people and factories in small towns.
There are also fewer cars that emit poisonous gases in small towns.
Another
way in which small towns are different from large towns is that there is less
crowding in schools making it a better place for students to learn. Teachers
can focus on each individual student due to the smaller class sizes in small
towns. This makes it a better learning environment for the students. In large
towns most schools have over three thousand students attending at once. In some
schools in large towns there are more than forty students in each class. That
makes it nearly impossible for the teachers to give individual attention to the
students.
Large
towns and small towns are also different because small towns are more peaceful
and quiet than large towns. Most people that live in small towns seem to be
friendlier than people that live in large towns. Small town people seem to know
each other better and are neighborlier than the people in large towns.
In conclusion small towns seem to be a better place to live than large towns because they are less crowded, there is less pollution and the people are friendlier.
