Technology Staff Development – Spring 2006

The district will be offering technology classes before and after school starting in late January and running through February.  Classes will be held outside of contract time and all staff will qualify to be paid $15.00 an hour from grant dollars.  Staff can take several classes and grant dollars will be available for all in-class hours.
Please reply (to Lance Swanson) with your requests via email.  You can also print & route this email to Lance Swanson at the
Cardinal Student Support Center (circle the classes you want). Class size will be limited.  Classes will be filled on a first come basis.   If you email your request, I will reply to let you know that you are "registered".  Please reply with questions.

PLATO Basic Training  / Intro

Plato Boot camp for first time users of Plato or for those who need a refresher course on how to setup users, classes, assign courseware and run reports.  This class will give you  “hands on” help setting up & using Plato Pathways. The goal of this class is make you comfortable enough with Pathways that you will be able to go back to your classroom and begin using it!  Please plan to attend both Sessions.

Learn how to design your own Customized Learning Path to enhance individualize learning.  We will look at some existing customized Learning Paths including Leaning Pathways that have been aligned to the Nebraska State Standards, create one as a class as well as give you the opportunity to create one of your own.  Please plan to attend both Sessions.
