CCD
St. Mary's Religious Education Program /
CCD (Confraternity of Christian Doctrine) offers religious instruction to
kindergarten through high school students not attending a Catholic school.
Classes are held Wednesday evenings, September through April, from
7:00-8:00 PM. In anticipation of the new year registrations for class
begin in the spring and continue to Labor Day. Registrations for new
students are welcomed at any time.
An approved series of Catechetical texts
is used for Kindergarten through Grade 8. This complements and assists the
parents in their effort to pass on the core beliefs, teachings and
practices of Catholicism. There is a yearly fee for books and materials.
Special preparatory activities for First
Reconciliation and Eucharist, Confirmation and Graduation are held in
conjunction with Guardian Angels School and Central Catholic High School.
The teachers and helpers, all of whom
are volunteer, have either reached or are pursuing their religious
certification. Parent participation is encouraged. Contact the Parish
