Tie in bar bell eyes behind hook eye. Wrap thread to rear tying in legs as you transverse the hook shank Tie in cactus chenille. Wrap thread to front of eyes. Wrap cactus chenille to behind eyes, tie off and cut rabbit strip to twice the length of hook shank. Punch a hole in the strip equal to the length less 1/4 inch Place strip on top of hook shank by threading it onto the hook. Tie of strip behind eyes and whip finish.

Tie in eyes behind eye of hook. Wrap thread to rear to a point about 1/4 inch in front of point of hook Tie in marabou or hackle barbules around hook shank Tie in crystal flash around marabou Tie in buck tail around marabou. All tail materials surround the hook shank Wrap thread to front and finish with whip finish.

Wrap body wrap from rear to hook eye. Tie off thread and coat body with head finish. Tie in on bottom of hook, behind hook eye, a small clump of red fluorofibre the length of the hook shank. Tie in on top of hook, small clump of white fluorofibre the length of the hook shank On top of the white, tie in a small clump of chartreuse fluorofibre twice the length of the hook shank Tie in on top a clump of chartreuse angle hair the length of the fly Attach Eyes Coat head with epoxy

Pattern from Richard Schmidt Mississippi state record redfish caught on this fly Wrap the thread to directly over the point of the hook Tie on small amount of marabou barbules and flash Tie on pieces of brown yarn leaving enough room at the front for the eyes Tie on bar bell eyes Cut a piece of gold mylar tbing between 1 1/2 and 2 inches, remove core and tie on in front of eyes. Finish fly. Pick out mylar tubing
