Loud
Mouth Clouser

This version of a clouser style baitfish imitator has
two or more brass beads on the hook shank that "Click" together when
the fly is stripped through the water.
Step 1
Place two brass beads on the hook shank.
You will probably have to crimp the barb of the hook down to get the
brass beads on the shank.
Step 2
Tie a ball of thread just prior to the curve of the hook as a stop for
the brass beads.
Coat with Head cement or epoxy, depending on where you are fishing this
fly.
Insure the Glue dries before allowing the beads to contact the Thread
ball and glue.
Step 3
Tie your Dumbell eyes of the bottom of the hook shank allowing room for
the brass beads to move.
Step 4
Tie the wing on the fly as you would on a normal clouser style fly.
Allow the wing to stay high. If the wing is tied tightly to the
hook,
it will inhibit the movement of the brass beads.
Step 5
Tie in several strands of Crystal Flash - Pearl or to match the wing
material.
Whip finish off and coat with head cement. Done.
