Brief Bio
I began working in theatre at a very young age. I grew up backstage with the smell of the glue pot and casein paint. My father was a director who gave me the love of greasepaint and animal glue. Most of my work today takes place on the computer. I have designed scenery for regional theatres, film, television and amusement parks. I have been teaching at the University of South Dakota for 21 years and during that time I worked with Jan and Jill Swank at the Black Hills Playhouse for 20 years. Though I no longer work at BHP I continue working with longtime friends and associates John Wylie, Mark Prey, Wendy Stark, Anne Mundell, John Devlin, Mark Wilson and many others. I am married to Christine Case and have three children, Joseph, Emily and Katherine.
