Katrina Was Strong, But Our God Is Stronger!
On August 29, 2005, Hurricane Katrina tore through our beautiful Mississippi Gulf Coast, leaving death and massive destruction in its wake. Our church, like a majority of structures in the area, was devastated in the storm. The building was flooded and much was destroyed.
God is still good, however! Volunteer groups from around the country have broken through denominational barriers and all pitched in to help rebuild our church facility and many of our members' homes. Our church is now well on the way to full restoration, thanks to the help of God's people of many denominations. See our "Photos" section for pictures of both the damage and the rebuilding process!
