Landstuhl

Landstuhl is a nice little town in south west Germany, close to Ramstein Air Base where we were stationed in the 80s.  From the historical or tourism perspective, Nanstein Castle which dates back to the 1100s is probably the only point of interest. 

Unfortunately, we don't have any long shots of Nanstein castle due to an unfortunate incident with lost digital camera media.  The pictures below were taken when we drove up to the castle in the evening only to find it was closed for the day.  We had to settle for a walk around the perimeter.
