Germany

Ron lived in Germany as a young boy when his father was stationed there with the Air Force shortly after World Was II.  Later, he was stationed thee early in his own Air Force career, and again later with Maggie.  We lived in and near Landstuhl in the south west, but our travels in Germany also took us to Bavaria, the Black Forest, the wine country of the Mosel and Rhine Rivers and even to the Frankenstein Castle.

We loved our stay in Germany and took weekend trips whenever possible.  We even went back on vacation in 2003.  The pictures in these pages only cover a small portion of the country, but we feel they are representative of the rest of the country that we didn't have a chance to visit.

The photos here are just a small sample of some of the sights in Germany that don't fit under the specific pages elsewhere in this website.  Left:  Heidelberg Castle above the Neckar River. Kathe Wohlfahrt's main Christmas store in Rothenburg and a famous street scene in Rothenburg.  Below is the cathedral at Nuremburg.  Every year they have a Christmas market in the area adjacent to the cathedral.
