Warwick Castle

Warwick (pronounced "War-Ick") Castle dates back to 1068, only two years after William the Conqueror invaded England.  The original castle would have been a wooden fortress built on the hill. The original part was rebuilt in stone (see first two photos in second batch) and the castle, as it stands today, expanded from there. The castle was a really interesting place to explore. It has towers, dungeons, a banquet hall, luxurious rooms, antique furniture, paintings, and museum quality artifacts.
