Lancashire

Lancashire lies in the north west of England. The town of Blackpool is a holiday resort on the coast. The main drawing attraction of the town is tourism and beach activities. Donkey rides are always popular with the kids and he amusement rides on the piers are fun for all ages. The landmark tower is a 518 foot replica of the Eiffel Tower in Paris.

Not far away is the majestic Samlesbury Hall. This collection of ornately timbered buildings has a history going back around 800 years. We arrived just as they were closing, so no inside pictures during this trip. While we were there a wedding party arrived for their official photos. They chose an absolutely beautiful setting.
