Places we have enjoyed.

We are putting this site together in order to share with others some of the interesting places we have had the opportunity to visit. Some of these places require extra care when kids and pets are along. All these places are in desert terrain and some in very remote locations, so you must remember to take adequate supplies along with you and let others know where you're headed. Much has been written on desert safety, so please prepare yourself so you will enjoy to the fullest the great places we enjoy visiting.

All GPSr coordinates are given in the DD MM.MMM format and in the WGS84 datum. For some of the sites it will help to have a good topo map in addition to the GPSr.

We have tried to include pictures for each of the sites, so you may know what to expect. We tried to give a recommendation on the type of vehicle (car, truck, 4X4) that should be used to get to the sites. Most of the time high-clearance is all that is needed, but if 4 wheel-drive is needed we will try to remember to say so. Road conditions can and do change so be prepared so you're not let down. Now, on to the links for the great places here in the AZ, NV, & UT area.

Have fun exploring our world. Just click on a picture and enjoy.
