Software Training
So you bought a new piece of software, but no one in the office knows how to use it.   They offer classes at the local college, but the class is eight weeks, and doesn't cover half of the things you need to do.  I can help you now.  I can teach your staff individually or as a group, and go right to heart of what you need.  I can help you set up custom templates, forms, or databases to get your job done in half the time.   I can teach you how to create a newsletter, letterhead, company logo, business cards, etc.  I will teach you in your office, home, or at my office.

Two accounting products are quickly becoming the standard today, "QuickBooks Pro" and "Peachtree".  I can teach you and your staff how to setup and use either package.  Either one will work for your company for many years.  If you haven't decided which way to go, call me and I'll make recommendations about my favorite, and why.

I specialize in the Microsoft line of products, but also teach Corel, Borland, and other brand name software.  Just a few of the classes I offer are:

Hardware Training
Has that new scanner just been sitting there because you don't know how to use it.   You don't understand all those graphics formats (GIF, jpeg, bmp, tiff, etc..).   What does it all mean?  I can show you how to put that scanner to use for photos, faxes, copying, etc.  Scan those paper documents, file them away on your computer, and get rid of that paper mess.  If you ever need a hard copy again, just print it out.  I can teach you all about your printer, modem, network, or computer.   You can learn to install that new modem or hard drive yourself.  Maybe not the first time, but I can show you how it's done, then the next time you decide to upgrade, you can do it yourself.

Internet Training
Have you wanted to use the Internet, but can't make sense of it all.  I will teach you how to send and receive email, how to search the Web for any information you need, and how to use the Internet safely.  The Internet is much more useful than you may think.   I often hear people say, "I can't see why I need the Internet", but after one lesson, they're hooked.  Like it or not, the Internet will soon be in every home and office just like the phone or television, and with a little help you can put this tool to work for you.

File System Training
Would you like to be able to manage the files on your computer, but don't understand how.   I can teach you about deleting files, and which files not to delete.  I can show you how to copy, move, and backup your files.  I get a large number of callers who say, "I was trying to delete some files to make more room on my hard drive, but now I'm getting an error message".  Deleting files when you don't know what you're doing can be disastrous.
