I was born in Tucson, AZ, and raised in Gallup, NM. I lived and worked there as an auto mechanic until thirty-three years old. In 1977, I moved to Houston where I married Mary Hughes. I attended the Univ. of Houston graduating with an accounting degree. Adam was born there in 1981. We moved to Ada in 1982 because National Petrochem had hired me as controller. We joined the Church at that time. In 1987, partner Mark Southerland and I bought the company. The rest is history!
