This is a 1957 MGA 1500 roadster project car, which would be the perfect start for a ground-up restoration or a vintage racer. It is equiped with the desirable knock-off wire wheels, and comes with a huge pile of parts which makes the whole project feasible. Tally-Ho!
The car was disassembled about ten years ago, the body was sandblasted and primed, and then everything was left sitting outside under a car cover. Fortunately, the D.P.O. (Dreaded Previous Owner) had the foresight to start accumulating parts for the anticipated restoration, including many duplicate MGA parts and a complete MGB 1800 engine and transmission. All of these go with the car as one package.
The vehicle is being sold with a Bill of Sale only; there is no title and the body number (VIN) plate on the body tub is missing. Given the age and mix-and-match nature of most MG restorations, this is not uncommon. There are several legal options for titling a vehicle like this if you wish, and I'll be happy to go over them with the buyer.
