Pair of 1956 Ford Fairlane Victoria project cars
Ready to Rod or Restore

Without doubt, the 1955-56 Fairlane Victoria 2-door hardtop was one the most attactive cars offered by the Big Three during the Fabulous Fifties, and represents a real bargain when compared to the comparable Chevy Belair from the same years. Here is a great deal on a pair of 1956 Ford Fairlane Victoria 2-door hardtop project cars, with a whole pile of parts to go with them. Both cars have been sitting in dry (but dusty) storage since 1993, and are ready for restoration or built into awesome street machines.

Car #1 is a complete and original vehicle with 292 engine, automatic, power steering, Town & Country radio, and two-tone paint. Interior is complete, with original fabric upholstery. Very straight car with excellent panel gaps and nice trim, solid floors and rockers, with some isolated rust through in the usual places (behind front wheels through fender outer panel, behind rear wheels). Trunk lid is currently off the car, but is in good shape. Car comes with clear Idaho title, and would be a great candidate for restoration to original configuration.

Car #2 has been partially disassembled for restoration. Exterior and interior floorboards have been sandblasted, and front clip loosely re-assembled. Originally a three-speed car, it was converted to floor-shift at some time in the past. The body on this one is super sanitary, with only a couple trivial rust spots. Hood and bumpers are currently off the car, but are in good shape. Gas tank has already been dipped, sealed, and repainted. The floorboards are weak and would need repair or replacement. This car would be a great foundation for a modern "resto-rod" or a nasty street machine. It does not come with a title, but one could be easily obtained in several different ways.

The whole package includes a LOT of parts, including a complete, low-mileage, rebuilt 292 Thunderbird engine sitting on a pallet, and an original automatic transmission (condition unknown). Also included is a complete Continental spare kit, a set of 4 NOS wide whitewall tires mounted on original wheels, plus piles of miscellaneous parts including shocks, wheels, and a lot of NOS chrome and stainless trim still in boxes.
