At Patrick Haven Adult care home we have a well trained certified staff of caregivers. Each member of our care giving team has gone thru a mandated certification process. They are trained and certified by a registered nurse with specialized training in the State mandated certification process. Each caregiver goes thru 64 hours of intensive training in supervisory, personal, and directed care processes. Each caregiver is fingerprinted and screened in the best manner possible to provide the safest and best care of our residents. There is a monthly education process each caregiver must attend to keep updated and current with resident care practice. The caregivers at Patrick Haven go well beyond the mandated 12 hours of continuing education needed to keep their certifications current.
The care-giving staff of Patrick Haven includes a home manager, Branden Brown. He has been with Patrick Haven for two years, and is certified by the State as an assisted living care home manager. His caring attitude and willingness to give expert care through kindness and compassion sets him apart in this industry as a valuable asset to Patrick Haven. He is available to the staff 24 hours a day 7 days a week for questions and guidance. He is a working manager and is trained in all aspects of the care home operations, and resident care. He was raised in a household with a nurse, and has the critical thinking processes that enable him to recognize and report any changes in resident conditions immediately. He keeps direct contact with families, physicians, and the on staff R.N. with updates and progress reports of all our residents. He is responsible for the care and well-being of all our residents and does this with passion and compassion. The residents refer to him as the most gentle, caring person they have ever met in this field of care.
The staff R.N., Rosie London, is also a certified care home manager and registered nurse with 30 year’s experience in the health care field. She has a multitude of experience in Cardiovascular care, intensive care, home health, community health, medical surgical nursing, pediatrics, geriatrics, diabetic education, certified nursing assistant instructor and state certified caregiver trainer. She is also the owner of Patrick Haven Adult Care Home. She was trained and certified for assisted living practice by one of the largest assisted living companies in the country. Her experience in the operations of assisted living comes from 5 years of operating a 39 unit assisted living facility here in the Prescott area. The company has 188 care homes across the country and is one of the pioneers of assisted living. She is well versed in the tried and true practices of assisted living care.
