We welcome you to the Parish of Our Lady of the Gulf. We invite you to share in our sacramental life and encourage you
to register at the Parish Office.
Sacrament of Baptism:
Baptism is celebrated the first weekend of the month. Parents and
Godparents should register for the baptismal instruction class the preceding month by contacting the Parish Office. Godparents
must be practicing, churchgoing Catholics.
Sacrament of Confirmation:
The final Sacrament of Initiation is celebrated by our Bishop
during the Easter Season. Please call the Director of Religious Education at the Office.
Sacrament of Reconciliation:
Confessions
are heard every Saturday from 5:30 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. in the Church, and at any time by private appointment.
Sacrament of Marriage:
Arrangements should begin at least six months in advance, and should be made prior to making plans for a reception. Call the Parish Office for an appointment with the priest or deacon you would like to have witness your marriage. Click here to view the guidelines.
Sacrament
of Anointing of the Sick:
This sacrament should be celebrated by those preparing to enter the hospital for elective surgery or some
other serious treatment, and for others who have need of the Sacrament. Anyone who is homebound may call the Parish Office to
arrange for the celebration of this Sacrament. In an emergency, call the Office at any time.
Sacrament of Holy Orders:
Anyone
interested in exploring the question of a vocation to the priesthood or the diaconate should call the Parish Office. Those interested
in living their lives as Religious Sisters or Brothers should also call for more information.
Memorials:
Anyone wishing to remember
a loved one in a special way is asked to contact the Parish Office.
Confraternity of Christian Doctrine (CCD):
CCD is the
program of religious formation for the youth of our parish not attending
Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament:
Exposition,
Adoration and Benediction of the Most Blessed Sacrament occurs each First Friday. It begins after the 6:30 a.m. Mass and concludes
at 11 a.m. before

The RCIA is a process of helping adult Catholics who have not done so to celebrate the Sacraments of Initiation (Baptism, Eucharist, and Confirmation), and also of assisting others to be received into the Catholic Church. The program is available in English and Spanish. Please contact the Church Office if interested in this program.
