A half-century ago, the beginning was already being witnessed, since thetechnological conditions had been realised and morality was not strong enoughto prevent developments getting out of hand, to where the military andsecurity aspects of research went hand in glove with medical interests.Along the way to modern substances for implants and injections whereby thesolution bonds with cerebral matter to perform predetermined operations, wepass by trepannation where the hospital patient was grossly assaulted so thatelectrodes could be driven into the brain. This can be seen as early as 50years ago in x-rays from operations which took place, for example, atKarolinska Hospital in 1946 or Sachska Children Hospital 1948, both located inStockholm.

The above photograph dates from 1948 and shows Bengt at SachskaChildrens Hospital. This is the day before Dr Alm places a number ofelectrodes in his brain.

It was first discovered by the mother after an unappointed /span> visit. Onhearing her son's screams from an operation theatre, she rushed in to find asurgical team and nurses under senior physician Alm who ushered her out, not,however, before she had witnessed how they were driving a large amount ofelectrodes through the base of her son's still soft skull.

Bengt has now been suffering for 48 years from the medical experiment takingplace in his brain. He has therefore been forced to spend several years of hislife in a psychiatric unit, to take early retirement and to accept Iife asresearch material for medical experimentation through the operation performedby Dr Alm 48 years ago. Bengt's suffering continues to this day.

In Den Maktfullkomliga Oformagan" (The Despotic Incompetence) (1987) JanFreese writes: "The thought that information on the individual can begathered and processed unchecked, without the knowledge of the subjectconcerned, is cause for alarm... We have found that the possibility of blending radio-transmittingsubstances in injections has been discussed in medical literature since the1960's, and the ability to combine such substances with conventionalpharmaceutical products, tablets, powders and solutions is close at hand. TheNorwegian scientist, Tor Hansen, describes how it is possible to also mixthese substances into foodstuffs via preservatives, colouring, thickeningagents, fillings and all forms of medical or dental implants.
