On December 15, 2005, a check in the amount of $6,500 was presented to Kirksville's Habitat affiliate by Truman State University's Habitat chapter. The Truman Habitat chapter has been extraordinarily instrumental in their help with the construction of Habitat's recent houses in Kirksville. This additional financial gift presented in December was the culmination of many months of dedicated work on the part of the Truman Habitat chapter's members. Kirksville's Habitat affiliate is deeply grateful for the Truman Habitat chapter's unflagging generosity.
