Our Four-legged Family

This page is for our four-legged children and grandchildren!

The children are:

Princess EQ (she is Continental Kennel Club [CKC] registered)
date of birth: Feb 5, 2008

We adopted Princess in May 2008. She is very loving and affectionate. She loves to play with the boys. She loves to lay in your lap and be petted or brushed. She also loves to give kisses. As a mother, she is very attentive to her litter. She allows Boss and Prince KW to check in on her and the pups, but won't allow them too close yet. She visited the vet on June 25th and was given a clean bill of health.

Bossman & Prince KW (both are CKC registered)

date of birth: Aug 25, 2008 (brothers)

Prince KW has the black mask as a younger pup, but as he has gotten older, the mask has faded some. He still has his tri-colored markings. KW has not received a real cut, only a small trim, so his coat is still long and flowing.

Boss was a tri-color as a young pup, but has lost almost all of the tri-coloring after he has gotten older and had a puppy cut.

The pictures of the boys was taken a day or two after we got them home from Missouri.
You can see Princess in the first two pictures.

When we first went to Missouri to get Prince KW, we were only planning to get him. But after having gotten there and seen the rest of the litter, my heart (Bob) was stolen by Bossman. We thought we would bring Bossman back to Mississippi as a gift for Kim's cousin; but for health reasons, she was not able to take care of him. I was glad to hear that Martha couldn't take care of him; because at that point, I didn't want to let him go. He has stayed here and now is part of our family. He lives up to his name in fashion. Boss is also the father of the pupies (our grandchildren) shown further below.

Here are the grandchildren: (2 female and 2 male pups)
These little ones arrived late on June 24 and early June 25th, 2009. At first sight, they appeared to be black and white, but now it is noticeable that some of what we thought was black may be brown as well, so they may have the tri-coloring as their parents.

These little ones had their first vet visit on June 25th. They were given a big "thumbs-up" as their hearts and lungs sounded strong and clear. They will be checked out further as they get a bit older.

If you would like to "adopt" one of them, they wll be available for adoption on Sept 1, 2009. At that time, they will be two days shy of 10 weeks old and will be current on all of  their shots and de-worning. Both parents are CKC registered, as is the litter. Each of the little ones will come with their own papers as well. The adoption fee is set at $300 each. If you would like to "reserve" one, a deposit is required upon reserving one and the balance due at time of adoption. If you have our phone number, you can call us to schedule a viewing of the little ones. If not, you can reach me by email by locating my link at the bottom right of this page and send me a message to schedule a viewing. Contact us either way for more details if you or someone you know is interesting in adopting any of them!

A registration form has been submitted to the CKC for the litter. As each is adopted, a pre-printed puppy registration application will be provided. It will provide the pup's date of birth, parents' names and registration numbers. The individuals adopting them will then only be required to fill out the form and submit it to CKC with the fee for the specific type of registration they choose to request ($12 to $43).
