My retirement
ceremony
April 1, 2000
This page is just a brief view of the "treatment" that most "retiring"
members get during their final "get together" with co-workers and
friends. You will see that a few of the "younger" guys usually try to
get you tied up and cover you with a variety of different "condiments".
I feel I gave the younger guys a run for their money, they weren't
expecting this "ol' man" to give them such a fight!
I must say this:
Throughout my 20 years in the military, I made many great friends and I
will miss them all very much!
Some I still keep in touch with by emails and phone calls, they are a
part of me and I will never forget them!
We've been through some rough times together;
(Tiger Thrust exercises [the 7-day long, 12 hour shifts in our chemical
suits] at
England AFB, La;
nine months together during Desert Shield/Desert Storm - "Gulf War"),
and it only made our
friendships better!
This group in the following photos are some of the best of the best!
Thanks guys for all the good
memories and when we ever cross paths again, we can BS about the good
old days!

Do these two think they can just tie
me and I won't fight -
WRONG!
Still going at it, not going down without a fight!
Okay, they eventually got me,
tied my ankles and wrists, now

had a blast getting to see the

thing, been almost 7 yrs in the industry now!

took a day trip to Denmark - ate caviar and escargo, yes that was fish
eggs and snails....lol...oh yeah, I broke 3 ribs while riding a horse
there (English saddle), the horse spooked and threw me into a tree as
we were riding trails in the forest...that hurt like a b****.

the

had a good time here while attending an FTD class and made trips there
