Arizona CDE - Coolidge - March 8 - 10, 2002

Driving up to the Presentation Judge. We are on the warm up grass, before the dressage test.
We are starting our first CDE. Linda is my groom.

This is the total Miniature Horse entry for the CDE we drove. It was our first ever but not our last.
Cal West CDE - May 3 - 5, 2002
Temecula, California

The cones course was very challenging. Obstacles were fun and the horses got to open it up.

Another view of an obstacle. The water hazard was fun and challenging.

The horses did very well for us here. This is work on the Dressage course.
Old Pueblo CDE - Tucson, Arizona Nov. 22 - 24, 2002
Linda's first CDE, driving Chase. Linda took First Overall with six VSE entries.
Bob Smith & Heidi Anderson, 3rd Place. Here is the water hazard before anyone got there.
Arizona CDE - Coolidge - March 9 - 11, 2003
Bob Smith, with groom Heidi Anderson, in Dressage with his team of 34.5 " Miniature Horses, Caliber, a gelding on the near side, Calypso, a stallion on the off side. Passing before the judge at "C" as we cross the mid point "X"
Going into hazard #1, ready for anything.
Coming out of hazard #1 at full speed. Must get back down to a trot in under six strides! Notice how the "flower pot" as Heidi likes to call herself, is hanging on for dear life and leaning into the turn.
Here Linda is driving 36.5" Chase into the water hazard. He did very well for being only his second CDE. Took to the water like a duck!
After 3 1/2 years
driving the much modified 4 wheel carriage, we got a REAL marathon
carriage. It will be in its first CDE on September 10, 2005. Here it
is at one of our clinics with a friend on the back step. Caliber has been
replaced by Buck Shot "Bucky" on the off side. Calypso and Bucky
seem to move as one horse and have about the same pulling power.

Linda
is now driving Rocky in CDE's and ADT's.
Great mover! See, no feet
on the ground!
