There was some discrepancy about the year of birth. Warren went 1899 but that would make him to near the age of his sister Elsie. He did however remember the day and month.2#2.

"John Wolf Leader Early Settler, Dies at age 89, early settler in McDonald County, died at his home 7 miles south of Seneca Monday after a shor illness. He was born June 19, 1849, and lived 61 years until his death on the farm he homesteaded near Hart. In his early manhood he served in the U.S. Army and was active in Indian warfare. The funeral service was held Tuesday at the Hart Baptist church by Rev. C. H. Jent of Neosho. He is survived by 4 sons: C.H. Leader, Anderson; John Leader, Kansas City; Buck and George Leader, Globe, Arizona; and 5 daughters, Alice Owens, Fossil, Oregon; Eliza Kellog, Seneca; and Mae Smith, Kansas City. One sister Alice Derrick, Dunebary, Pa., also survives.".

"Noah Jobe, a pioneer of 1845 died at the family homestead, one mile west of this city, early Tuesday morning. He was born in Knox County, Mo., in 1825, and crossed the plains with the first train in 1845, settling west of this place on a donation land claim of 558 acres. He went through the Cayuse War in 1847-48, and later went to the California gold fields in 1849. Returning he was married to Lydia Garwood in 1851, the wife dying in 1900. The surviving children are: Rebecca J. Pomeroy, of Kamiah, Idaho; James W. Jobe, British Columbia; Lilburn Jobe, Wasco; Martin E. Jobe, Nez Perce; W.F. Jobe, Irvington and Mrs. Dora Taylor of this city. Deceased was brought home from Idaho, where went to visit a daughter, last week. The funeral took place Wednesday afternoon, at 2:00 o'clock, from the residence, and interment was in the Odd Fellows' cemetery. Deceased was a highly respected citizen, and had a host of pioneer friends.".8#12.
