Kevin Kelly, L.R.D.

 

"My focus is on wellness. I am a firm believer in health promotion and disease prevention. My personal philosophy is that if you have your health, you have everything. In order to maintain my health, I make sure that I follow the same advice I give others: follow a healthful diet and exercise."

Kevin Kelly is a Licensed Registered Dietitian. He holds Bachelor of Science degrees in Food and Nutrition and Corporate and Community Fitness from North Dakota State University (NDSU) in Fargo, ND.

Kevin has taught a variety of classes at a post secondary level. Those classes include Nutrition, Anatomy/Physiology, Kinesiology, and Business. Currently his time is spent conducting food safety evaluations and teaching ServSafe courses for EcoSure, writing and editing articles, and speaking publicly. In addition, Kevin is pursuing a Master of Science Degree in Health, Nutrition, and Exercise Sciences (HNES) with a Public Health option at NDSU.

In previous years, Kevin had a private practice. He taught classes at Sister Rosalind Schools & Clinics of Massage in Fargo, ND, and for Community Education in Moorhead, MN. For six years he taught Nutrition classes at Minnesota State Community and Technical College (MSCTC) in Moorhead, MN. He has been a consultant dietitian for local agencies and businesses such as Fraser. For five years, he worked with the dietetic internship program at Concordia College in Moorhead, MN. For three years, Kevin was the Media Relations Representative for the North Dakota Dietetic Association (NDDA) for eastern North Dakota. In addition, he hosted a radio show for 2-1/2 years. For 6-1/2 years he provided nutrition services for the NDSU Wellness Center.
