Being a Reservist for the Idaho Fish & Game, and in the taxidermy business for over 25 years; our customers need to understand that ANY WILDLIFE harvested by us has been legally taken.
However... Selling wildlife to customers OUT of the state of Idaho where we are located brings into play INTERSTATE COMMERCE LAWS.
CUSTOMERS ARE REQUIRED TO CALL THEIR STATE'S F&G BEFORE BUYING ANY WILDLIFE FROM US TO SEE IF THEIR IS ANY RESTRICTIONS ON IMPORT/EXPORT LAWS OF THEIR RESPECTIVE STATES.
It's not difficult to do, just call your state's F&G and ask them if their is any restrictions on importing (buying from us) the particular wildlife you want to purchase.
The U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service (Federal) has told us: "Some states require import/export permits for ANY WILDLIFE coming into or out of their state. It becomes a Federal Lacey Act violation if it is illegally transported acrost state lines."
Christensen Taxidermy will NOT be held responsible for any legal fees incurred for any violation(s).
