Joe Ascione - Drums

Joe Ascione has over twenty years of experience in all idioms of music, from studios to live performances, clubs to Carnegie Hall. Presently, he is performing with his own group as well as the Billy Mitchell Quartet. Joe has performed with Jimmy McGriff, Cab Calloway, Della Reese, Jon Hendricks, Dr. John, Al Hurt, Jay McShann, Flip Phillips, Milt Hinton, and many others. He has also toured the world, playing in all the major festivals. Record labels for which he has recorded include Telarc, Concord and Arbors.

An endorsee for GMS and Zildjian Cymbals, Joe is active in the educational circuit doing clinics and master classes at colleges and universities in the U.S. and abroad.
