It seems to me that it should say corrupting him here.
The only girl at this point is the "daughter of women" who is the one doing the corrupting.
Is she corrupting herself?
I did a search for the same hebrew word in a program that is not easy to use, here the only three it came up with.
Maybe there is more places used and maybe there is a phrase for putting him at the end of the word, I don't know.
But in the search the word was used as "destroy it" which I believe is what Rome or the Dragon that gave power to the Beast "Rome" is out to do.

1Chr 21:15
And God sent an angel unto Jerusalem to destroy it: and as he was destroying, the LORD beheld, and he repented him of the evil, and said to the angel that destroyed, It is enough, stay now thine hand. And the angel of the LORD stood by the threshingfloor of Ornan the Jebusite.

Isa 36:10
And am I now come up without the LORD against this land to destroy it? the LORD said unto me, Go up against this land, and destroy it.

Jer 51:11
Make bright the arrows; gather the shields: the LORD hath raised up the spirit of the kings of the Medes: for his device [is] against Babylon, to destroy it; because it [is] the vengeance of the LORD, the vengeance of his temple.

It could also be that if the women is the same as in Revelation 17 "the harlot church" being a women then the true church would also be a she as in Zion or Jerusalem.
