Another Thought:
After this shall Rome turn his face unto the isles, and shall take many; but a prince "Jesus" for his "Jesus" own behalf shall cause the reproach offered by him "Rome" to cease; without his own reproach he shall cause it to turn upon him."Rome".
Is there a deeper meaning?
We saw possibly the same women in Revelation as we did in the previous verse.
Look again in Revelation 18:16-21.
Could this be those that Rome has taken?
This is also seen in Ezekiel 27:29-36 where Revelation draws from with the same hebrew word for isles.
Rev 13:2 we see where Rome is getting its power from.
Many are deceived by him But we have a prince Jesus who will show who he really is and turn things around putting the reproach back on him.
A big problem with this view is the word used for prince here never refered to Jesus, nor does it seem that the Beast or Rome has time to return back to his own land in Revelation 18:8,10.
