BodybuildingJon competed again this year in the Northwestern Natural (no steroids). He entered two classes, the Men's Open Lightweight and Men's Masters. Glad to say that he had an awesome result and won both classes. This entered him in the Men's Best Overall competition where he was beaten into second by one vote. Some pics Jon's BirthdayCathy bought Jon a Skydive experience with over a minute of freefall. That landing hurt but boy oh boy what an experience. Thoroughly recommended. One of Jon's presents (thanks Mum) was a new canoe. Dressing UpSeems like every party we go to requires us to dress up, and more often than not Jon dresses as a woman!!! Take a look for yourself, but the general consensus is that Jon would be very ugly woman. Halloween was spectacular. Jon dressed up as a ... well guess, and Cathy was a kick ass Lara Croft. The annual Red Dress Hash saw us both dressed in Red Dresses of course. Isn't Jon such a cutie? Rocky Horror is always entertaining with the audience dressed up like the performers. Cathy and some friends went to a Diva's evening as a diva of course, and the was a beach party at some point. Visit to EnglandWe went to UK early in the year to catch up with everyone. We visited the Tanners who "put us up", or should that be "put up with us" on our first night in the UK. and friends from Bristol, Teresa, Nickey & Terry (left to right) Hooked up with friends in Redditch Saw our old house. Meet with Cathy's family and Jon's family. Jon got in trouble. No surprise there! Visitors to IdahoWe had two visits this year. Jon's Mum and Nephews came over. Chris and Mike seemed to like the water. Later on Simon came to visit. Some drag racing was in order. Daughters of the British EmpireYou'd be surprised just how many English people there are in Boise. Cathy joined The Daughters of the British Empire. Every year they have a Garden Party to raise money for charity. Gunfighter SkiesThe local Air Force Base puts on a air show every year. This year we went along. You might recall that one of the aircraft crashed. Quite dramatic. Anyway before the crash we had some fun. The picture of the crash I found on the internet later on. It shows the pilot ejected less than a second before the plane hit the ground. He was only lucky guy to walk away from that. Turns out he made a mistake and had not taken the height of the airfield into account, and started the manoeuvre some 1000ft too low. He is not flying with the Thunderbirds any more. Outdoors StuffThe whole thing about Idaho is the great outdoors. When it hot it's fun. and when it's cold it's fun. Viva Las VegasOur most recent trip was to Las Vegas over Thanksgiving. We are both Trekkies on the quiet so visited the Star Trek Experience and took in some of the sights.
