- Tue. Oct. 7, 2008: SPE 2008 Golf Tournament. The tournament will be held at The Territory Golf Club, West of Duncan, Oklahoma on Beech Street. Shotgun start will be at 1:30 pm. Please contact Mike Sanders (580) 251-3916, Ron Powell (580) 251-3925 or any SPE Officer for further details. Sponsors are needed for hole prizes and door prizes. Hole sponsorships are available for donations of $250 or more. Each sponsor receives recognition on the tournament table boards. The purpose of the SPE Golf Tournament is to raise scholarship money for students from Southwest Oklahoma who are preparing to enter a university intent on the study of engineering, mathematics and/or science with a priority given to those who will be enrolled in a petroleum engineering program.
