
Due to the extreme range in brightness of
astronomical
images, use the calibration bar below to adjust you monitor. You
should
see a difference in shading in each of the seventeen bars from
black
to white. Usually, a increase in brightness and contrast is
required.
You should end up with a slight difference between the last two darkest
bars.
Black should be as black as possible and white as white as possible.

my images are processed on a monitor calibrated using this bar.
