Cut chicken in about 1-inch chunks. In a small skillet, combine sesame seed and oil; cook over medium-low heat, stirring occasionally, just until seeds are golden, about 2 min. Let cool a few minutes. Stir in soy sauce, sugar, ginger, pepper, garlic and half the green onions. Mix in chicken. Marinate at room temperature for 30 minutes.
Preheat over to 400 degrees. Arrange meat with all the marinade in a single layer in a rectangular baking pan. Bake for 18-20 minutes until golden and cooked through.
Serve over steamed rice or fried rice. Garnish with remaining green onions. Serves 2
