Hollis' Really Yummy Ham


This recipe takes approximately 3.5 hours total to prepare, but is worth the effort!

Soak lid of clay cooker for 10 minutes in cold water. Bake ham in clay cooker for 30-45 minutes at 375 , then cut off excess fat. Return to oven at 325 degrees for 2 hours. Pour off grease. Mix:

Stud ham with cloves. Smear 1/2 of the sauce on ham. Put in 250 degree oven for another 1/2 hour. Remove cloves. Cover with remaining sauce.
