Howdy Everyone! You too Robert!!!

Legend: Don & Emma - (D&E) Jim & Bonnie (J&B)

This has been an adventurous day!! Weons were cruising along enjoying the beautiful scenery - driving through some of the most beautiful landscape and suddenly J&B's bike started to wobble - now for those who don't know what "wobble" means - the bike was moving side to side and the trailer was moving side to side also - that may not be a scary thing if the cycle isn't travelling 65 miles per hour going up a steep windy 7% mountain grade!!!! Consequently, D&E were quite a distance ahead of J&B so D&E didn't know J&B had a problem - J&B tried to catch D&E but the cycle started wobbling crazy and we had to slow way down!!! Finally,Bonnie started waving and Emma saw Bonnie waving and D&E pulled off to wait for J&B to catch up. J&B had to pull off about 500 yards away - D&E made a sharp U turn right in the middle of a two lane highway to find out what was the matter!!! Well,to make a long story kinda short - J&B had a tire that was flat on the bottom!!!! That flat bottomed tire was brand new too!!!!

By the way J&B met a new friend!!! The tow truck driver's name was Fred - he wore suspenders that held his pants up under his arms!!! High Waters go everyone socially and are good work clothes too. By the way, Fred was driving a brand new tow truck and his clothes were so dirty!!! But - Fred had a nice personality!!!! Everything wasn't toooooooo awfully bad.

Jim thinks Dunlop tires are made in Italy because when they go flat they go whop whop whop!!!! This little joke was provided by a now very calm Jim after having Jack Daniels to give him an attitude adjustment!!!

The current weather report that D&Es room is now 61 degrees!!!

Goodnight Fred!!

We started this morning from Jackpot, leaving at 8 am Pacific time at 50 degrees, it quickly warmed up within 10 minutes to 60, which felt better to Jim and Don who were sleeveless. From there we went to Boise, Idaho, stopping at the Harley dealer, then heading north to McCall for lunch/dinner. We actually got there at 4pm local time. We still had 160 miles to go at that point and did about half of that before Jim & Bonnie experienced the flat tire (above). Don & Emma waited with Jim & Bonnie until the tow truck driver came, then took off for Lewiston. They arrived around 9pm and about 9:20 pm Jim & Bonnie arrived with the Harley in tow. It's been a long day! The Harley dealer is suppose to be able to fix the flat at 9 am when they open. We are hoping to get back on the road and make our destination in Canada, although we may be a bit late in arriving. We have around 350 miles to do out of Idaho and thru Washington, then into BC.
