HOOP SHOOT RESULTS

    Prescott Lodge held it’s annual hoop shoot on Saturday, December 14th. The schools had submitted names of 10 boys and 12 girls and 9 boys and 10 girls actually participated. We had first and second place winners in the 8-9 and 10-11 age groups and no participants in the 12-13 age group.

     The First place winner for the girls 8-9 age group was Amy Hurt of Taylor Hicks School and Paige Ramm of Abia Judd won first place for the 10-11 age group. First place for the boys age 8-9 was Cameron Wright of Taylor Hicks and C. J. Ramsey of Abia Judd for the 10-11 age group.

     Thanks to all the helpers: Bob Eyerly, Chairman; J.R. Johnson, Earl Grove, Dave Weissert, Fred Shepard, Dick Colvin, Frank Stout, Dick Burgard, Bob Butler, Dave Tutwiler, and Curt Fruechte. The Drug Awareness table was in operation distributing red ribbons and anti-drug literature.
