This is the current calendar for my Dunkley Music students. The "x"s mean no lesson or class. The dates with the box and "class" marked in them are the dates of the theory class and jam session. The times for the classes are below the calendar. Dates with no box or "x" are regular private lesson days.
The song we are playing for the Dec 14 jam session is:  Santa Baby
For the theory class I will cover Intervals.
Here are the theory lecture notes from the Nov 16 theory lesson on Major Scales.
I am posting only the TEF file with all of the parts in a single file. If you want the banjo file you can download the TEF with the banjo lead instead if the guitar lead.
You will need either the Tabledit program or the TEFview Tabledit file viewer. The full program can be purchased at their website for a reasonable (well worth the cost) price. It may be purchased here: Tabledit
The TEFview is FREE and may be downloaded here: TEFview If you need instruction on how to use the program, please ask me at your lesson and I will demonstrate the program,
Here is the TEF file of Santa Baby. It has all guitar, banjo and bass parts in the same file.

Here is a Zip file containing the songs in the Jerry Snyder's "Guitar School" book, the book I use to teach note reading to my students. I have entered the songs into "Band-in-a-Box" so my students will have an accompaniment to play along with. Guitar School Band-in-a-Box file

Here is a zip file containing midi files of all of the songs. Unlike the "Band-in-a-Box" files, these cannot be slowed down unless you have a program that will slow down a midi file. Guitar School Midi file

Since these files are zipped, it is first necessary to download them to your computer then unzip them. Click the file to begin the download. Specify the directory where you would like them downloaded. Once they are downloaded you will need to unzip the files. If you are using Windows XP there is an unzip program included in XP, Check your Windows help files for instructions on unzipping the files. If you are using a previous version of Windows, you will need PKzip or Winzip. Unzip them into the location of your choice on your hard drive. In order to open the "Band-in-a-Box" files, you will need the "Band-in-a-box" program. You can purchase the program on line at the PG Music site (Check my "Links" page.) You may also purchase it at a discount price through Dunkley Music if you tell them you are one of my students. I highly recommend the "Band-in-a-Box" program. It is a great tool for musicians and well worth the money.
The books I use for advanced note reading are Hal Leonard books 2 and 3. For students who have Band-In-A-Box and would like to play along with the songs in the book using Band-In-A-Box, below are the files you will need:
