The Pointer Rescue Organization (PRO) is a nationwide organization dedicated to placing Pointers in need of a good home with people who will take good care of them. They have a lot of good information about Pointers and all that kind of good stuff. They hold a special place in Elvis's heart because they were teh ones that helped get Elvis out of the Pocatello Shelter. He even had his own webpage on their website for a little while.
The American Pointer Club is the AKC-recognized national organization dedicated to bringing out the best in Pointers as a breed. They sponsor field trials and all the rest.
Australian Cattle Dog Organizations
CattleDog.com is a place to find Cattle Dog rescue information and all sorts of other stuff Cattle Dogs.

General Dog Organizations
One Dog Makes a Difference (ODMAD) is the bunch of people in Pocatello that have helped us train the mutts to be well-rounded responsible members of society.
The Pocatello Kennel Club (PKC) is another bunch of dog people we hang with in Pocatello. They organize dog shows, sponsor rabies and training clinics, and do other things to help dogs and dog owners locally.
