Friends and Family

SinewySimian.net

Chris McTiernan's my best friend, and he 's in much better shape than I am. Check out his brand new, graphics-intensive, website.
Jake & Sarah

Jacob Mundt

Jacob is a not-so-classy geologist. He has links to kinky-sounding things like "Spurgefest" on his webpage. People with heart conditions be warned!! :)

Holocene Cave Drawings

My cousin, Paul, is a software engineer near Philadelphia, PA. He's pretty cool, but he's got a big head. :)

Ben and Chrisie Russell

Chrisie and Ben both went to Lock Haven with me. They were wed in October, 2000 and are now old just like me. They're the only people on the planet who have more pets than Kate and I do.

Mark Ford

If there's only one person with whom I went to school that should be a PhD candidate, it's Mark. It's a good thing he is then.

Geology Links

Idaho State University's
Department of Geosciences

The Geology Department of Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania

The National Atlas Online

I really haven't inspected anything here very closely yet, but it includes map layers such as: Geology, Mineral Operations of all kinds, and Volcanoes. They want you to subscribe, but you can try it for free.

The Idaho Digital Atlas

Spearheaded by a number of people in the ISU geology department, this is an excellent resource for geology, biology, geography, and other good things. It's really quite good . . . an excellent resource for teachers.

Mike McCurry's webpage

Mike is one of my advisors. He's into geochemistry and igneous petrology and is the cornerstone of Friends Of Geology/Defenders Of Rock Kinetics.
