History:

This station has had many owners and many call signs. In the early
80's it was WWLX, then later WKNI (from 1987 to 2000 according to Wikipedia).
After that, it was WZNN and had a sports format. The station was
purchased by a Hispanic broadcaster in 2002 and it flipped to Spanish language
programming sometime afterwards, with the WJHX calls. This station
is co-owned with WZGX, a small AM in the Birmingham metro, by Bar Broadcasting.
Both stations are currently simulcasting WQCR, another small suburban Birmingham
AM'er, with their "La 10 Q" regional Mexican music format.
