New Plymouth Attractions Waterwheels
New Plymouth is home to the original waterwheels built in the early 20's to aid in irrigation. The waterwheels are still in operation along the Noble Irrigation Canal off Hwy. 30. The waterwheels have been inspiration for photography, paintings and replicas. Tuttle Blacksmith Shop Located at 116 West Maple, the Tuttle Blacksmith Shop is a great opportunity to see the past living on today. Payette County Agriculture Museum, Inc., The Payette County Agriculture Museum is home to approximately 300 items related to agriculture including horse drawn machinery, tractors, mowing machines, buck rakes and much more. The Agriculture Museum is located at 3575 N.W. 1st Avenue just outside of New Plymouth. The museum is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. or you may call 278-5462 for an appointment. Recreation Disc Golf New Plymouth is home to a 10 basket Disc Golf Course. The course begins at Plymouth Avenue and goes north. There is no cost to play and the only equipment needed is a special disc available at sport shops. There are 15 such courses in Idaho.
