Public Hearing Minutes
Public hearings were held before the New Plymouth City Council at the New Plymouth City Hall on Monday, November 5, 2007 at 6:30 p.m. Mayor Moscrip, Councilmen Cline, Peterson, York and Esplin were all present.
Guests included Alvie Johnson, Jeannette Mayer, Andy Gehrke, Pat Engel, Beau Ziemer and Angela P'Pool.
Councilman Esplin made the motion to approve the agenda. Councilman Cline seconded the motion, which met with full approval.
2007 Block Grant Application (In conjunction with Arsenic Compliance): Mayor Moscrip asked for public testimony. Pat Engel explained that she was with Sage Community Resources and is assisting the city with the funding request for the ater system project. Ms. Engel read into record a description of the program and an overview of the application. No further testimony was given. Councilman Cline made the motion to close the public hearing at 6:38 p.m. Councilman Esplin seconded the motion, which met with full approval.
Neutze Request for Annexation, Comp. Plan, Residential A Zoning and Development Agreement for Property Located at 720 Holly Avenue: Mayor Moscrip asked for public testimony. Mayor Moscrip read into the record a letter of opposition from Don and Ida Mae Cook. No further testimony was given. Councilman York made the motion to close the public hearing at 6:45 p.m. Councilman Esplin seconded the motion, which met with full approval.
