Sea Pen-Ptilosarcus

The Oregon Coast Aquarium offers a rare opportunity to view exhibits of sea animals, marine mammals and the habitats they live in. The aquarium offers a wide variety of exhibits to explore at your own pace.

You can watch a short video that introduces you to the animals and the habitats of these native creatures.

Explore the sandy shores, rocky shores and coastal waters exhibits.

During your tour you can explore the seabird aviary. Here you can walk among species of birds that are seldom seen because they live in the open sea. (Black oystercatcher, Rhinoceros auklet, Tufted puffin, Pigeon guillemot)

Visit the Seals, Sea Lion, Sea Otters and Octopus where you can view them above and below the water through large viewing windows.

Be sure not to miss the Passages of the Deep exhibit. Here you'll experience an up close encounter with sharks, sting rays and rock fish as they swim all around you.
