Grandmothers cabin

We went to Chris' Grandmothers cabin this weekend. It is in Pine, ID. It was fun. We were there from Friday night through Sunday. They have owned this cabin since the late 1960's. It started as a small one room cabin and then they built on a bedroom and later a dining room. We try to go up there at least once a summer. We were a little late this year. It is nice though, there is no cell phone coverage, no over the air TV (with satellite you could get it), the cabin does not have a phone, so when we are there we are pretty isolated. We did manage to catch the Boise State game on the radio though. Chris and his family have been coming up here forever. He and his brother Cort, have many memories of hiking through the sagebrush using a toy compass to find their way to the river. It is nice to be able to share those memories with our kids.
