My wife and I saw a movie a number of years
back, Waxworks, I think it was. It was sort of a teenage
slasher movie. Anyway there is one scene where one of the
guys tries to stop one of the girls from going somewhere the guy
thinks is unwise. So she says to him:
"I do what I want, when I want, dig it or Fuck off!"
So we decided then that would be our family motto:
"We Do What We Want, When We Want, Dig It Or Fuck Off!"
The actual Latin
translation is as follows: If you
give me money, I'll try to spend it.
Quidquid volumus, nos agimus,
Whatever we want, we do,
quandocumque volumus agere id
whenever we want to do
it.
Laetamini aut scortamini
Be glad or be fucked.
